Hypermediations is a project of the Center on Media, Religion and Culture at the University of Colorado Boulder, made possible by a grant from the Henry Luce Foundation.
The term “hypermediations” (or hipermediaciones) was coined by Carlos Scolari, denoting a shift in the study of media “from the object to the process,” from the media as a fixed set of institutions to cascading, ubiquitous, participatory representations.
